Formula 1 wives and partners are rarely far from the spotlight. But at the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, Alexandra Leclerc — wife of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc — drew attention not just for her fashion, but for the composed manner in which she responded to online criticism.

Three Looks, One Statement Weekend
Over race weekend, Alexandra wore three distinct looks. On Friday, she arrived in Ferrari red leather trousers and a white Frame Ghost Tee — widely read as a deliberate tribute to Charles’s team colours. Saturday brought a softer, vintage-inspired polka dot mini dress from PrettyLittleThing. On Sunday, she closed the weekend in a structured Saint Laurent co-ord: minimal, monochrome, and quietly authoritative.
The Comment That Prompted a Public Response
Following the race, Alexandra posted a carousel to Instagram captioned simply: “Too much??” One commenter replied that she was “nothing without” her husband. Rather than delete the comment or ignore it, she responded publicly — and at length.
“Actually without my husband I’m a normal girl, with my normal hobbies, my normal interests, my normal passions, who tries to be as kind as she can. That’s also what I love as his wife. And there’s nothing wrong with that.”
She went further, addressing the commenter directly: “Who you are as a person, how you treat others and what you choose to do with your freetime does [define your value]. Reflect.” The original comment was subsequently deleted. Alexandra’s reply remains.
